something to do while waiting for a raid to fill

so.. while waiting for a raid to fill i get REALLY REALLY bored. could you guys let us spar/fight/duel something. make waiting for a raid to fill fun please.

I usually scroll farm. Von5 is a great place as is chrono. both raids.

3) If you smoke (but not in the house) go smoke one.

4) Visit with spouse, play with kids if you have them.

5) Watch a movie or two.

6) Read a book.

7) Take a nap so that you are fresh when the raid starts.

8) Go to the forums (the true PVP of DDO) and find something to post about.

9) Check everyone in the raid on MYDDO and decide that they are GIMPS and you do not want to carry them through the raid. Then rage quit.

Awesome! I have been in many a raid where people who were waiting from the start, and complaining about how long the raid is taking, suddenly announce they have to go afk and leave for a longish period to bio/makefood/smoke just when we fill. LOL

Did you cap your crafting yet?

Buy back your whole buyback cache, deconstruct it all, craft some shards, decon the shards... by the time you are done the raid should have filled.

Devs used this as one of the main reasons for the challenges before U11.
So, challenge yourself!

It will be nice if more/all wilneress areas was raid friendly.
There is no much reason you shouldnt be able to run Vale while waiting for Shroud to fil.

GW2 dynamic events gets rid of this.

I think DDO should add something to this effect, waiting forever for a divine/tank sucks.

NO thanks I dont want some clown always challenging me while we wait for a group to fill then taunting me when I refuse to do something I find pointless and booring.

Subterrane and house c are both raid wildernesses which make for a good choice when waiting. It would be nice if there were more places you can go in a raid party...

Subterrane is a nice challenge but quite doable with the right toon (evasion helps)

You can do that already! Go to a tavern and talk to the guy by the brawling pit. He will set up a deathmatch or capture the flag arena for you.

Or you can simply use the brawling pit. The house D and J ones are almost always empty.

Can't do a CTF/Team Deathmatch match while in a raid party.
