I don't really have a race preffererance besides 'no elf' (This means helf, elf, drow, moon elf, wood elf, dwarf-elf, and whatever else you come up with I'm sick of elves in every game, blech).

I've got a 32 point build option, so that's good.

I'm interested in running a fighter who is dps oriented (not really a main tank guy, but I'm willing to do it as a fill in or once I learn the game better), has decent survivability, and has a variety of tactics and options to help the party as needed.

I was thinking a good use for sunder, trip, possibly stunning blow, things like that? Forums seem to be a really mixed bag on what's good, worth doing, various conflicting builds, and just a sort of confusing mishmash of data.

I've always preffered 2hand weapons over dual wield, but I hear that 2wf simply insanely outclasses 2hf so I'm willing to go that route if so.

I'm a new player, so I don't have a gear stockpile, and don't have a lot of knowledge. I got a stone express bard at 16, but honestly want to go back and play through all the content and stuff I missed, because it's exceptionally confusing to just drop myself at 16, and I want to catch up (and maybe level her once I get the hang of the game a bit better).

If my question's not really clear I'll take another crack at it.
