I'm an old player that's been playing off and on since DDO beta. My first server was Sarlona and a few years back my guildmates and I moved over here and haven't looked back. We've genuinely had a good time and I have met some amazing people on this server. When I say amazing people, I mean some AMAZING people. People who have done things that I just didn't think I'd ever see in an MMO at all. People who showed alot of kindness and compassion towards someone they didn't even know. That scored many points for me

That being said, I'm an RP'er. Always have been and always will be. I grew up playing D&D as a kid so you can imagine that I have alot of fun with this game. I'm not much for powergaming and I don't care for insta max level characters. I just like to play and have fun with my friends. If you're not having fun, I don't see why you should play, I.E. do something that you aren't having fun. Anyways I have been wondering, as I see the sticky thread at the top of the forum. Do Thelanis Thursdays still happen on this server? What's role playing like on this server right now?

I'm curious as I loooooooooove me some RP! By the way if you see Marrdhum the half orc fighter running around that's me! If you see members of the 1st Fist of Light running around don't be afraid to say hello. We are a really old RP guild, some 12 plus years now. We don't discriminate when it comes to making friends Oh and I also am wondering who some of the other RP guilds are on the server and does anyone ever do RP events ever?

What I personally wouldn't mind seeing is an RP static group. Hmmm maybe I will put some thought into it and post for one eh!

I am all for the Zerg / Level game, heck I got a couple of TR's and 3 toons sitting at cap so don't get me wrong there!

Would be nice for a change of pace though for a mod RP + Questing group. Hmmmmmm

Thelanis Thursdays do still exist, though I'll admit they have been a bit quiet the last few weeks. COme by the Phoenix Tavern.

The Fellowship of the Golden Night is planning some up coming RP events too.

And there is always the RP user chat channel Stormwatch.
