MOTU Collector's Ed. Code

Greetings, fellow citizens of Khyber! The title says it all. I have one. I am looking to unload it. For those who have been following other, less savory...more disappointing...recent threads, no...this is not "that guy's" code, though I'd be lying if I said it didn't inspire me to offer mine up. I have a bit more class (punny) than to buy a thing and then turn around and hike up the price. I'm shrewd, but not a (complete) d-bag. Anyway, here's what I'm looking for:

***Looking for equivalent of ~15M Plat for code***

-SoS Scroll (I'll give it a value of, say, 2M Plat)
-13M Plat in other items, valued as follows:
-FRDS = 500k
-LDS = 225k (I don't need these as badly, sorry)
-Greater Essences = Good, Divine, Arcane, Mind, Air = 200 each
-Greater Essences = Other = 175 each
-Lesser Essences = 1/5 of its Greater counterpart each
-If you have other items you'd like to entice me with, PM me and what you feel it's worth, and we'll go from there

Feel free to send me a PM with a variation on this; it's negotiable, not set in stone. I'm kinda interested in a few other scrolls and also essences, but they aren't priority. I am available in the evenings, and I'll be checking the forum semi-regularly. I don't recommend looking for me in-game randomly, because I'm either on specifically to conduct a trade or I'm on to game. Forum is the best way.

Yeah, I saw they were still there and so I removed them. My buddy was recently booted from a group running...I think it was Wiz King...on Elite, and they said it was because of his gear/stats on MyDDO. We've run that quest entirely too many times on other chars with far worse equipment. Anyway, I very much dislike MyDDO for the elitist culture it has helped create on DDO. I'd like to say it was a clever snub against the dude with no sig, but alas...no.

Lowered plat. Again, if you have a variation on the above, that's cool. I probably won't go below a 15M Plat overall value, though, and considering it simply can't be found anymore, that's letting it go cheap.

30 RDS is about were people seem to be pricing this at the moment.

5k TP seems to be about 11 RDS. And standard code seems to be about 10 RDS.

There are going to be less 'spare' CE codes floating around as people consuming them, but there will be less people interested as they either get standard codes or buy the packs with TP when U15 releases.

However lot of the extras in the CE pack are not purchasable any other way - epic spider mask and lesser tomes for all your toons.

Not just that. It depends on what the person already has, there is other value in the pack. Lesser tomes if you had more than 5 characters would be a good investment - at least 5k TP. Unless you have already bought some.

Plus that is stacking ML0 +1 skill bonus - like the bunny hat and other masks.

Gold seal hireling has some value.

Plus of course the xpack itself - druid, adventures and challenges.

So, is the above worth 15k TP or 30 RDS? Depends on your need and current situation - number of toons, access to quests, vip/non-vip status.

Personally I think the CE pack is very good for VIP players with 5+ toons whom want to convert to non-VIP status. Big set of the quest packs and other useful stuff: Veteran Status 4 & 7, “DDO Classics” & “DDO Epic Classics” Adventure packs.

Empty, thanks. Look, everyone...I'm not trying to swindle anyone or sell you sugar water. The CE rocks. What "might" have a better item in the future...is that something you want to bank on? Your call. Everything will be rendered obsolete at some point later in the game. Anyway, Empty brings a good point, and my above value of this is a bit overshooting it when you add it up...so...

If someone offers me the equivalent of 30 FRDS, it's sold. I would *like* some good ol' fashioned plat thrown in the mix, and I *really* want an SoS scroll (doesn't everyone?). The Small, Med, and Large ingredients are sort of after-thought. I'm not hurting for any of them...same with Essences.

If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell. I'll hang onto it in case one of my buddies joins the game in the future and it'll give him a leg up. Big smiles, everyone! Big smiles!
