Alt + TAB causes severe flickering

When in Full screen mode there is always a chance that if I alt tab out, and then return to the game it will force both my monitors to flicker endlessly forcing me to use the power button to shut down the computer.

Any Idea why this happens?

Also if I am in fullscreen mode and click out then try to click back to the game I can not and it just clicks right through to the desktop and needs to have its process ended to fix it.

Also is there any way to enable a "Fullscreen window mode" ?
