Cannot get end reward - Caught in the Web

When I talk to the Elminster he just says Meet me in the village square. Did all the flagging quests and finally did the raid, but unless I get my reward I can't redo it. Anyone else have/had this problem?

I had a problem with Elminster once because I never picked up my end-reward from the first time I came to eveningstar (whatever that quest is called). Maybe check for him in the village square. I had to re-log because he wasn't appearing where he was supposed to appear, but he was there when I logged back in. Once I picked up my end-reward for that I was able to talk to him in the normal caught in the web location.

Not sure if this is something different, but might be worth a try.

Yes on my most recent run. I did what he told me to do and got the end reward for an Into the Rift I had run with a guildie to show the MOTU stuff. I was then able to get the end reward for CitW.

OK sorted it out - he can appear at two places at once but can't make the green arrow or equivalent appear over his head. :/
