The Official Gen Con 2012 Thread!

Dungeons & Dragons Online will be at Gen Con 2012! Stop by the Wizards of the Coast area (#1401) and look for the DDO kiosk!

• Take part in our Spinner of Shadows challenge (and more), talk to us about the game, win great prizes, and pick up cool swag (as long as supplies are available!)

• We'll be posting pics throughout the convention on our Facebook and Google+ pages, and using Twitter to keep everyone up-to-date!

• Don't forget, the fansite DDO Cocktail Hour is having a live taping on Saturday night! Click here for event details!

Are you going? Make sure to say hello in this thread, tell us about your plans (if you want to), and chat Gen Con!

Also, if you haven't heard: DDO players are organizing a totally-unofficial meetup on Friday night to hang out. This is 21+ only. It's being coordinated here.

DDO will not be at GamesCom this year, sorry! Lord of the Rings Online will be there, and Sapience is bringing a bit of DDO swag with him as well, so ask nicely if you are there and he'll probably hook you up with some cool stuff.

Will be on the road this evening for a (hopefully topless) night run.

Pass along to whoever waited this long to make a decision / release the info... A little earlier heads-up would have been nice. For me, it would've made some differences in my planning.


But overall is very cool to be seeing y'all have an official presence at Gen Con again - even if it has to be tied in with those stuffy WotC guys.

Hey go check out the "Battle Legends USA" stand, thats my room mate and his cousin, Foam covered, fiber-glass Swords and other weapons, Great axes, etc...
I told him to ask his supplier to try and make some DDO weps and armor anyone else think that would be cool???
