    Default Lots of in-game freezing

Hello there. I'm having some technical issues with my game freezing while I play, very similar in style to lag spikes although I do not think my connection is the issue here. No matter where I am or what I'm doing in game, every few minutes I get a horrible freeze that locks everything in place for a few seconds at a time, it's lead to many needless deaths and quest failures. I've tried running the game with the FPS limited and also ran the game with every engine speed but to no avail. It happens regardless if I play full-screen or windowed. I ran dxdiag but it hasn't found any problems that I know of, all of my computers drivers are up to date. I play using DirectX9 graphics.

I am playing DDO on an Acer Aspire 7551 laptop with Windows 7 x86 6.1 build 7601

AMD phenom II n970 quad core processor @ 2.2ghz and 4gb of ram.

ATI mobility radeon hd 4250 graphics card

If theres anything else I should do or post let me know! Thanks!

    Default Freezing/slow load

I was having the same issue but changed one thing and it seems to have gone away.

Using control panel i went into system then chose advanced. Once in advanced I opened the settings button in performance. Under that window I chose advanced and under memory usage unclicked system cache and clicked on programs.

This change seemed to have helped---so far.

I think the problem may be solved, I blasted through two quests with no freezing, save some minor hiccuping.

Going to do some more testing, will report back to thread or delete it based on what happens

    Ty for your help xenobias
