How do you know it wasn't her, and that she's not lying now and pretending it wasn't her just to con you? If they knew enough about her to pretend to be her so well it fooled you, it likely was her or someone who knows her very well. Just saying....

Well because after the matter said person was online at the same time as the person he was pretending to be was trying other "deals." The SS I included above is one where he is pretending to be a GL of a well established guild that I am on good terms with and only took a single /tell to find out it wasn't the real person.

There is indeed someone trying a scam here. And they have not stopped at one person or one persons identity to duplicate. Tickets filed, awareness raised on the player base, the rest time will sort out.

If you are being harassed, please use the harassment reporting tools available to you in-game. If your friend is being harassed, please encourage them to use the same tools.

In response to the above screenshot showing someone trying to scam a player account, this kind of activity is strictly prohibited, and clearly shows the dangers of giving someone else your user name or password. Don't do it!

Finally, this thread is being closed for numerous forum guideline violations. As others have clearly explained, the difficulties in policing peer-to-peer trades are numerous, and is not something we are able to do. Player harassment, however, is something we are able to respond to.
