    Default Palemaster: Your Feats and Enhancements

    Hey Palemasters!

    I'm looking at getting my Enhancements all in line, since I'm getting close to lvl 16+ on my 2nd life Drow toon, and am checking out to see what other people have done to maximize their DCs and all that fun stuff.

    What are your Feats and Enhancements?

    Its mainly because peole change them up so much while leveling. At 20 I'll max my cold lines, even up intel and con if I have to, take a few points in fire just to keep firewall useful, palemaster line, all spell pen and focus enhancements, 1 toughness and just fill in the rest with whatever is useful. Don't forget the cap enhancement and
    lich. Maximize and empower enhancements are useful too as these are usually the only meta's I use all the time.

    Pretty much what Chem said. I leveled up with pets and then dumped them at 20 to get all those AP and Augment Summoning back

    Also for the damage enhancements, Kinerd did the math on damage lines and it's generally more effective to get multiple elemental types to 7/1/1 (7 damage enhancements, 1 crit chance, 1 crit bonus) than to get a single elemental damage line to 7/6/6.

    For Pale Master, I found the summons to be not worth it. Other than the prestige and required, it's down to how many you can afford on spell pen, improved metamagic, racial toughness, int and spell power enhancements that aren't already required by PM. And generally one point in wand/scroll. The rest elemental damage. I can't think of anything else that jumps out at me.

    i find the casters summons usefull. however. the cost for them is as it is, way too high.
    was amazed about the frost mage damage on fire giants. this was a couple of updates before. not sure how it is now with u14.

    The great benifit about the mage is that, once summoned(cost what? 20sp) he starts spamming spells which, for 20 sp, is a very cheap trade.

    20 sp for a few frost lances, ice storms etc. good trade.

    a friend also said to me once, that he thought metamagic feats are inherited by its sumoner.
    as in: if you as the player have metamagic feats your sommons would have the same.
    never tested it, since i almost never play my pm / use summoner or hirelings.

    I'm going to have to look in to the Capstone. Although I count 14 feats up there. Drow only get 11? Taking in to account PL: Wizard is free thats still 1 more than I have :X

    For my feats (being Drow) I took

    Toughness (I wanna change this to Mental Toughness I think so I can get Wraith form)
    Necro Focus
    Greater Necro Focus
    Enchant Focus
    Greater Enchant Focus
    Maximize Spell
    Empower Spell
    Heighten Spell
    Quicken Spell

    Booooooooooooooooooooooo if I had just one more feat slot I'd take Extend but what can ya do!
