    Default personal achievement :D

so after being frustrated with PUGs failing, i decided to solo House of Rusted Blades on Epic Elite instead of trying to get a party together that can follow directions >_>
no hireling, no death, on a repeater build, used... 3 scrolls of recon to heal myself from all the little bolts the boss threw at me.
    and no ddoor

PS: Greensteel RUINED the game! and you all know it!
    less buffing, more nerfing!!!
to make it easier for those of you that wants to avoid me in game, all my characters are in "Bladesworn Mercenaries"

Yeah that is a perfect example of a quest much easier to solo on epic elite than trying it with a pug.

it's only harder with PUG because most of them are too [insert adjective] to follow directions
they're pretty much way too trigger happy to follow any sort of tactic =\

that and over 90% of them will not have invested in sufficient stealthy skills both as player and character

Agreed. Should be a simple completion with any group, but splitting a pug can be such a pain. It only takes 1 person to totally ruin tactics.

In Deeps today I went west to clear-sent everyone else east (though someone else decided to tag along west- sorry no heals for you). Cast mass invis as soon as we were through the portal. Some genius aggroed half of the underwater area. I was at the second lever and .... red alert. ding. ding. ding. ding.

Did you take on the matron optional? Have only finished her on Ehard and was curious what that battle is like on EE solo.

heh shes very tough on EE, even in a full grp. Hits in the 300-400 range and has that fun no save paralytic injection ability.

Certainly doable solo, but would take a very long time (huge hp) and likely need some perching tactics. A ton harder then the actaul quest boss.

The matron fight is very easily doable if your ranged or caster since you can just jump up on a bookshelf and avoid damage. Being a melee though it may be extremely hard since she hits like a truck.

    Oh and grats

sorry, don't feel like spending 30+ minutes chipping her 10 gajillion hp down
it's not that she's hard to kite with a ranged build, just super tedious due to the amount of HP she has
