Fire Seeds

I know it has two options - trap and targeted effect.
Yesterday when I loaded it up for the first time just to try it out, it always wants to bring up the selection window even if I have dragged a particular choice to my action bar.
Is this an issue? Did a search on the forums for Fire Seeds and didn't get any relevant hits.

You have to drag the icon to a different hotbar spot than the one the the general icon is.

IOW:
1. Drag spell from character sheet to hotbar spot X
2. Hit X to activate spell
3. Drag specific form of spell to hotbar spot Y
4. Y will now active the specific form

Just an FYI, the thrown fire seeds benefit greatly from quicken and a "jump cast".

ATM, each one of my seeds can crit for around 350, which is fricken boss for a melee/caster build.
