    Default Epic Destiny failure

So I am VIP, and now level 20.

I can talk to an epi trainer and get to the tree/map of the destinies, but it will not allow me to claim one. I think this may be because i am only level 18 as a wizard, and the 2 fighter levels don't count. That or it is bugged o.o

I wish someone could help to alleviate my confusion, if not the situation itself.

As a sidenote, it also will not allow me to access the chart from my UI menu, though I have spoken with both E.D. trainers. Sigh.

Default it sounds like it's Working As Intended, from the info you gave...

EDs are part of the expansion, Menace of the Underdark.
VIPs do not automatically get access to content which requires purchase of the expansion.

    See: http://ddowiki.com/page/Menace_of_the_Underdark

If you want ED access, you can either buy MotU with RL money OR later this month you can buy just the ED component for TPs in the DDO store (when Update 15 is released, likely costing 995 TPs).

The good news is that you can still advance your character to level 25 if you wish, without buying the expansion...
and/or at any of level 20 to 25 you can TR as you could have at level 20 previously.

The wiz/fig split is not an issue - you only need 6+ levels in any class to claim an ED at char level 20.
(If you were 14 wis / 6 fighter, you'd be able to choose from options available to either class).
As you are, you are eligible for one of the wizard's choices, if you purchase MotD or EDs.
