My.DDO not updating

most of my characters do not update - some have been stuck for over a year. Kindly repair - and yes, have submitted in game ticket and they told me to post here. I just spent the last half hour trying to find / search out a applicable thread.

This is a very very very very, very known issue. It has been stated by the DEVs that this will not be stated anytime soon.

Remember myddo is and forever will be "beta". In other words don't waste your effort on this junk that needs to be pulled, scrubbed, and started over.

Squeaky wheels get grease. They fixed my characters once - they can fix it again. and again. and again.

I pay real money for this game - my.ddo.com is part of that. the in game lotteries give prizes that are worth real money. Legally they are bound to fix this.

Will they fix it? Probably not - they seem incapable of fixing it. yes - incapable.

Still - I will squeak and squeak and squeak.

myddo.com is bugged for me again - primary character is stuck in last life at lv13... still shows deleted characters.

Kindly throw some more grease on it. :P

Myddo worked fine for me for years, and about a month ago it stopped working. Nothing loads and I can no longer enter lotteries or update anything. Please fix this, as I am a paying subscriber (VIP) and feel that I am no longer getting my 100% money's worth. Or if this is a major problem that affects the majority of the users, then get rid of it until it is fixed.

Especially when the "legal card" is actually not, and may not even be worth the paper the forums are written on...

Yeah, I had a deleted toon with a True Heart lottery. Bummer. And the cash value of that is? Yup, nothing. COULD you buy one? Yes. That doesn't give any legal value, especially in light of the valid and enforceable unilaterally written contracts which bind your hands "legally" here...

That said, DDO, please fix it...

No.

That's the same 'fix' that's needed as for our alive chars not getting their winnings.

I tried holding my breath, but I looked funny going to work all blue & purple.

Yes, Backley's Grease Monkey scripts here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=322786 will do this. Essentially the script allows you to blacklist some of your characters from the lotteries, and automatically hides them from the lottery entry screen.

It won't work however if you've created a new character with the same name.

For instance, I have a deleted character 'Stelende' who I can filter out, but not 'Annasan', who was deleted and rerolled, as filtering 'Annasan' would hide both the deleted and live one.

Yep - not about the lotteries (although having dead toons winning is kinda funny - poor House Orien) - many other things - like lookups - etc.

Hopefully they just fix it someday Soon™ ☺
