    Default Monk with a rogue splash

    I am trying to build a rogue/monk for someone and would love some feedback or suggestions. I am usually a pure class type, but wanted to try my hand at the multiclass side of things. The idea they wanted for this one is a dual wielding monk using handwraps and fire stance, that also had a fair ability with rogue skills. Not sure how much they will use the flanking and backstabbing bonuses from the rogue, but if there is someone in the party to hold the agro I wanted to leave the options for those open. Any constructive criticism or suggestions are appreciated. :-)

    A monk-splashed rogue like wowo's works quite well, because even though you're giving up the rogue capstone, you gain +10% atk speed w/handwraps (which really makes up for the lost +4D6 SA from capstone), Stunning Fist, WIS AC bonus (which admittedly is less helpful than it was). A rogue-splashed monk, OTOH, is giving up a great capstone to be (AFAICT) a mediocre trapper with +1D6+3 SA - not a worthwhile tradeoff, IMHO, particularly since you're spreading your stat pts very thin; it's tough enough to make a 28-pt monk work w/out needing INT on top of STR, DEX, CON, and WIS.

    Also, a couple of feats you picked are pretty weak: Dodge & WF Blunt are lousy feats unless they're pre-reqs for something else you plan to take; meanwhile you didn't take Shintao PrE, one of the best aspects of being light monk, perhaps because you didn't squeeze in all the pre-reqs.
