Default Who wants Spell points? The walking sp pot.

I've been toying around with this idea and build for a while. First it was to be 12brd(spellsinger)8Clr(radiant).

After several build attempts I came up with a 12Brd 6Clr 2 rogue. Builds should replanish partys sp with songs and DV, save SP song, buff and heal lastly be able to hangle most traps close to level. I was going to wait for enhancement overhall.

I know leveling will be a pain. the first few levels I can heal but after 9 10ish it will feel usesless. Any ideas to make it better please do.

What exactly do you plan to do with this build other than restore SP? With 12 levels of bard and 6 levels of cleric you do not have access to a single mass-cure spell, or to heal (never mind mass-heal). You are limited to scroll healing via UMD, or using your radiant servant bursts, however with only 6 levels of cleric your bursts will be very underpowered compared to a pure or minimally splashed cleric.

So this build will be a pretty terrible healer with no melee or offensive capability of any sort. You've taken heighten spell, but I don't understand which spells you intend to actually heighten?

Restoring SP is a noble goal, but I'm sure you will find that any conceivable raid or party combination would rather have a member that's contributing to healing, buffing, and killing, as this will reduce their SP consumption far more than your DVs and spellsongs ever could.

Where exactly are spell points a problem that this build would make that much of a difference?

Maybe 4 years ago when Pots were rare and spell point pools were low. This would of been an interesting addition to a party.

How many sps do you plan to regen? Just go sorc, which provides more sps than you are going to provide anyway and be able to kill lots of stuffs.

    OK *without* all the angst:

    18 brd / 2 rog

Dont even bother with the cleric levels. Your heals/bursts will be ****, and you will only have access to one (maybe two, but pretty sure its one) tier of DV -- not even remotely worth losing the extra 6 levels of bard

Spellsinger is still an excellent choice, and not just for regening everyone else's blue bar. You can still do a slice of healing and DPS as well. Just grab enchant foci for CCs and Emp Heal if you want to replenish red bars as well as blue bars. SP regen helps alot with keeping YOU in SP for the CCs and Heals. Slide in Heighten if you can as well. Properly geared and with a decent starting INT you can do all of the traps and have plenty of skill points to devote to all of your skills. You can pick up 1-2 THF feats and run around with a big honking sword. Dont forget a few points for STR if you go this route. You dont need to be topping the charts; you just need to be able to smack things down a bit when needed. You can also elect to forgo melee and focus on spells. Not alot of damage spells for you to max/emp, but you can use either (or both) to boost your heal spells further if you go that route.
