Remaining UK Bank Holidays 2012
August 27th Monday. And that is it until Xmas.
Seriously doubt we're getting a release before mid-September at the earliest, more likely mid-October. There has been zero info from the devs regarding U15, Lama is down, and we're getting into August.
Meanwhile, the game has enough bugs to create a dozen of these:
A buggy, barely completable raid, and a fanbase sore from the obvious rush-job on the Xpack, which should have been PRISTINE as Turbine's first expansion ever. How are they going to get away with putting the next update on Lama for testing for 2 weeks and then bringing it live with even more bugs? Honestly, that happens...I may not even bother waiting for my subscription to lapse.

From what I've noticed, once something makes it to Lama very few changes are made to it prior to release in live. The vast majority of actual beta/bug testing occurs behind closed doors in Mournlands. Lama releases are mostly for players to trial-run content and give feedback about what they like or dislike. Occasionally, devs will respond to massively-unpopular changes in Lama such as the proposed Madstone nerf a long time ago. But mostly, what you see on Lama is what you will get.
And yes, I do very much hope U15 is postponed until September or later. Releasing it in August while so much of U14 is still broken would be a catastrophe. They've been playing Jenga with this game for a long time now, and the foundation has become quite wobbly. I think if they were to ignore the majority of broken things with U14 and rush out U15, the tower would finally collapse. There is a real chance the game would become largely unplayable with of the amount of buggy, broken content that another large-scale update featuring more quests and another raid would bring with it.
Honestly, at this point I think a fair number of people would be thankful if Turbine took down the raid and scrapped it, completely redesigning it from the ground up. There is nothing enjoyable about it. Between the bugginess, the horrid mechanics combining escort quests, boss kiting, and huge SP drains, and the lackluster rewards it's not only tedious and unrewarding to run but it's also a HUGE resource sink.

What is a "UK bank holiday", actually ? This term is unknown to me.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
so the actuall ? still remains....
Who cares about the bugs really?....there is always going to be bugs..what else would ppl have to complain about and there is always going to be something that is wrong with every new content release....there is NO PERFECT world ppl. if it was perfect again there would be nothing to complain about..
So the question still has not been answered......When will DDO put MOTU in the store so it can be purchased????????? the 20th? fine ...bank holiday 27th? Fine....
DEV'S nail it down for the ppl.

Days off, basically.
Once upon a time everything shut down, now most retail services stay open. They are usually on a Monday, and there was a worrying trend recently when Turbine scheduled downtime on 2-3 consecutive Bank holidays.
