Now, a message from our guild leader:
Hello, Everyone. I am sure that if you have spent more than five minutes playing DDO you have your own crazy, zany, fun, epic win / fail / LOLs of your own. Well, for me and my guildmates, these are ours. If the point of the game is to have fun, and if fun is best shared with others, then it only makes sense that we share our in-game fun with you all. If the least we can do is put a smile on your face while you remember your own instance, then this to-be-weekly issuance will be doing its job. Many members of The SIlver Legion contributed to this, and for that I am extremely thankful. I also want to point out all the hardwork that our very own HarleyHog has put into making this. I couldn't be happier with the result. So! Grab a drink, lean back, and enjoy! I certainly hope you enjoy this as much as I have.

DDO traditions or initiations? Call it what you may but everyone has a story like these:
On her first Shroud run, Ivorygem...awesome cleric of The Silver Legion, was told just prior to the start of Part 5, that if when someone runs their very first Shroud run on an account and can click the portal in the exact center, then everyone in the group will get an extra end chest. And you only get one attempt. Oh, and if she should not hit the exact center, everyone in the run dies. NO PRESSURE! Of course we all know that everyone dies anyway, but the group held strong with the ruse and Ivorygem tried to hit the center of the portal and was crestfallen when everyone died. PARTY WIPE! It was only on completion of the quest after her frantic attempts to resurrect everyone (trying to atone for her apparent mistake) did a member of the guild let her in on the joke!!! Good times, good times.
Don't forget your featherfall item!
Maisocks relates "when I first joined The Silver Legion, I found the airship quite by accident. I was completely new to DDO and was still trying to find my way around. I was amazed, but quickly found that I did not know how to get off the airship. I was advised by a guildie that to get off the ship you simply had to jump over the side and being the naive and gullible person that I am, I duly obliged. GERONIMO! I found myself swimming towards the docks in House K (somewhere I had never been before), to the chuckles and amusement of the guild who saw me clamber over the side."

I feel older just looking at this! Hope they took some snacks for the trip! Epic fail for GPS, 2.85 year completion time, had to have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque!
Distracted adventuring - when the adventure becomes less important than the guild chat.
