Which Reaver item to upgrade on my pally

I've acquired three Reaver items doing the raid, and only one seal to upgrade.

Cloudburst
Stormreaver's Napkin
Madstone shield

I'm not sure which to upgrade. This life I'm a THF human pure pally. Next life I'll be a TWF drow pure pally. I'm level 25, just unlocking my destinies and collecting gear while I wait for my husband to reach 20 and earn his tokens.

If you don't have a SOS or lit2, then the upgraded cloudburst is nice.

Better than both when fighting multiple targets now I believe (not run firm numbers) because of changes to the Cloudburst effect. Of course target-specific considerations (Sonic resist, Elec resist, non-evil mobs, DR/good, fortification) might change your results.

I have neither. However, I am working on an epic Antique Greataxe.

Thanks for the advice. I had been leaning towards upgrading the sword...but I'm having trouble getting a weapon that will stay relevant. Still, neither the shield nor the cloak seem all that useful (at least with what I want to play). The shield might be useful for S&B pally, not sure.

my advice? farm up a Head of Good Fortune and upgrade that instead.

It probably wouldnt be hard to get an item out of the raid that you dont yet have b/c most people don't need the items. For a paladin:

1. The greatsword if you are THF
2. The trinket for good luck (+2 to saves and skills like intimidate and UMD), dodge, fort
3. If you don't have something special for your gloves right now the gauntlets will help you heal yourself
4. Ring of lies for more charisma skills such as UMD and intimidate
5. The tower shield isn't bad
6. Tenderizer if you are a stunning paladin, most aren't

The other items probably all suck for a pally

I am not sure if anybody actually figured the proc rate and damage for cloudburst yet, but anyway it's a nice item now.
This would be my recommendation too.

Upgraded Head of good fortune is nice too.

Right now I'm using the Purple Dragon set from Eveningstar for my helm/gloves/armor. For my bracers I have the Fabricators from Cannith (I love the Combat Infusion).

I'm still THF and I've fallen in love with Cloudburst. It's not the 'greatest' for killing trash at level 25...but it's awesome at weakening it. The lightning and sonic attacks fire off fairly often and it's nice to see the heath bars of everything around me drop all at once. I think once I TR I'll keep it around and play with it at level to see if it strikes the trash around me dead. Even when I specialize in TWF next life I can still play with other weapons during relaxed quests.

A guild friend runs Reavers every 3 days like clockwork. I've pulled a second seal and some duplicate named items (I put them up for roll) so I suspect I'll end up with whatever I could want by the time I do TR.

Thanks for the recommendations on choosing the sword...it was absolutely the right choice.
