Vorpal Strikes

Ready to level to level 24 with my pure fire stance dark monk, and i was prepared to take vorpal strikes, when (realizing i had really never experimented with vorpal before) a friend of mine pointed out that 100 damage or kill if under 1000 hitpoint nerf.
It also counts your weapons as "slashing," so will WF:bludgeoning and IC:bludgeoning affect my weapons while in the vorpal strikes stance?
I also hear that it is bugged... will this be FIXED or will the text merely be changed to that it reflects what is currently happening?

I guess my big question is... Is Vorpal Strikes really worth taking?

Treated as slashing. Still bludgeoning, irrc. The slashing and vorpal can be turned on/off. One day you'll even be able to do it.

Yeah at the moment the feat does not work so either grab it and hope they fix it soon or pick something else and grab it later.
