    Default Durable Healbot

Prior to U14, I was looking at either a clonk or 19/1ftr with Towershield/ISM.

Post-U14 with AC mattering and PRR being much more useful than ISM, I'm wondering if anyone has any opinion on what's the most durable/survivable Cleric route?

I'm currently thinking of 18/2pal. Crank up the saves and still go with all the high-AC/PRR gear. Evasion is nice, but I'm not sure it's better than AC/PRR now. 18 gets me enough spellslots and puts my base cleric level at 18+2rs+5ed (25) for almost the highest-option heal aura, which requires a pure cleric.

Anyone with a bit more high-end experience can shed some light/numbers on the difference between going for Evasion or PRR/AC?

Also, as a sidebar, I'm currently examining some PLs for the build (have 1xCLR and almost done with 1xPAL) and was wondering if it was really worthwhile to get more than 3xCLR? I'm a slow leveller with no static group or anything).
Playing (and dying) since Open Beta...

I'm considering LR'ing my Pure Half-Elf caster cleric with fighter dilly to Half-Elf Pally dilly for the saves. He's pretty durable the way it is now (Epic Cavalry Plate and Light/Darkness is still nice even after the update) and I figure another +5 to all saves can't be a bad thing (considering he almost never melees any more). He's never had a problem surviving or healing in Pre-U14 epics or elite raids, and so far has had no problems in any of the Eveningstar/Underdark/Demonweb quests.

Evasion is awesome, even without being half-elf.

If you plan for epic levels, undying sentinel has everything you need - you might want to splash some reflex saves for fate slots later if you want, but even without it, your saves can be 40+

I am a 18 cleric/2rogue - i didnt farm any quest in particular for loot. I can get 85 AC with undying sentinel, and my saves are 38 buffless. Its enough, i wasnt hit by any AE spell in the lvl 24 quest caught in the web (on normal). Much better than a secure save for half damage.

Of course, if you want to be the hero who runs through spikes in Monastery/Elite, i would suggest a half-elf - pally dillettante.

well if you have 32point build or are TRing Warforged makes a durable cleric the DR enhancements are nice and the stacking fort helps to.

Saves, followed by evasion are both more important than PRR/AC/DR. Kiting is generally more than enough "PRR" and worse case, you can always power heal through it. However, you can't kite getting webbed, cometfalled, or blown up by spell DPS.

For a durable healbot, 2 monk splash is still the best way to go by far. 3 monk is also a decent option now for the run speed and 25% spell reduction finisher, and since the loss of caster levels is less of a big deal, but that's getting a bit clonkish.

If you have access to the epic destinies, the Undying Sentinel is certainly made for you. Bonuses to using a shield, +150 HP if you use the first stance, and a few other perks, like +40% fortification and bonuses to saves. Get the Lay On Hands abilities, too. I used the LoH aoe ability on my FVS and it was healing for a pretty high amount. It's centered on yourself, but clerics are usually in the thick of things, anyway; just another excuse to use your aura in the front lines. Twist in a few things from the Exalted Angel tree and you're good to go.

Once it's fixed, the epic moment will be an amazing 'holy cr*p I'm getting killed' button. Can't say no to a 20 second 10k temporary HP buff.
