Drow weapons

I wanted to check and confirm these items as to where they drop. Is it end chest in house of rusted blades, optional chest for ichoring all 10 weapon racks or both? Ive only hit the weapon rack chest once...but Ive sacked the end chest numerous times and have never seen one yet.

What's that based on? I have seen them pop without doing the optionals and with. I think this urban legend is giving turbine a little too much creative credit.
To add to this I pulled a no ML broken shortsword without doing optionals and then I pulled a no ML quarterstaff when doing the optionals.

Edit: I hear you get a better chance at good items if you use diplomacy on the chest.

Untrue. End chest has chances of dropping Drow and Druegar weapons period. There is no special flag mechanism that controls their droprate.

The droprate is really effing low though, so take a group of friends if you want to see one.

That's not true, Ive done this quest lots of times, if you do the optional the end chest will drop weapons that are completely damaged w/ no mods. If you leave the optional along completely you get the level 21 +6 version of the weapon w/ mods slight damage. Just equipt it before you repair it!

I have seen them in the end chest of the House of Rusted Blades.

No ML drow shortsword, +3[W], BtCoE

A named ML20 drow Qstaff +3[W], maiming, stunning +10, +6 or +7 (not in front of DDO), only half damaged, BTCoE.

Looking for a good repair engineer to fix them to pristine condition.

FALSE. First drow weapon I pulled was on Hard and we didn't do any optionals.

Optional chest for ichoring all 10 racks? mm ive done that a cpl times, and it never rewarded an additional chest. Pretty sure its only xp and the fact it makes the end fight even more trivial then usual.

re Drow weapons - they drop in the end chest, regardless of ichor optional. Also the "blank" versions were onfirmed as a bug by a dev, and appear to be fixed in the current live client... eg: no longer drop.

I've been searching through threads trying to find the list of what Drow ML 0 Weapons are out there. I've found these 3 on AH (pics posted). Since I prefer to TR, they are valuable to my toon for TR twink-gear.

Does anyone know if there is a Drow Khopesh, Longsword, Rapier or Longbow at ML 0, and if Yes, what the base dmg is, and the crit range? Thanks.

Seen them drop without doing anything other then completing the quest without doing any optionals.

Has anybody seen a Drow/Druegar heavy pick?

Gave a rapier to a guildie for his TR, and sold a greataxe on the AH on Khyber. AFAICR, they were both 3{W}. standard crit range.

I would say marginally better than the carnifex due to the base damage increase, but I'm sure a math peep could confirm or deny that one.

Would be nice if you could craft those, but oh well.

The optional seems to have no visible or notable effect on the end chest. Currently on live the end chest can drop both "real" drow weapons and the (confirmed bugged) min lv 0 weapons. I've seen both drop in the last couple days. A drow rapier (epic) and a drow shortsword (lv 0). I can't speak for how it is currently working on Lamania or how it might work after the 20th on live.

I've heard the bugged rings will be retroactively changed and I wouldn't be surprised if the lowbie drow weapons are fixed as well. It all depends on how much those lowbie weapons help players. If they're considered too good, expect a retroactive fix. If they're considered fair or perhaps just above the curve, I'll assume the devs won't touch them.

Nope. Watched a guildie pull it out of the end chest on a speed run. And I know we did not sabotage any other racks, as they were all piking back at the enterance while I applied the ichor.
