Default Challenge xp nerf, destiny reset, Raid still borked

So, it looks like they definitely got the challenge xp nerfed the right way. They definitely were able to get the destiny points bug fixed pretty well. Except, when it comes to things that benefit us, like enjoying the raid; they can't get together and seriously get this raid right? How much testing exactly goes on around there? Before releasing the raid, did you guys actually play test this? Took people almost no time to figure out it was borked, you folks would've too if you actually ran it before releasing it.

I was really looking forward to playing this raid the right way, and again to my dissapointment this thing is broken.

The raid has to be tested pretending that you DIDN'T write it and DON'T know THE PERFECT ORDER of actions that guarantee a win.

Just finished the raid on hard and it worked fine. I hear so many ppl saying that it is broken but if someone pays attention to Ana, the chances that she bugs are really slim, only one of my 9 completions failed so far (and that one because of bug ofc, the barrier didn't stay down, but according to the release notes that is fixed).

Challange xp being nerfed blows, but you can get about the same xp/minute in Rusted Blades.

My problem is rather the lack of challange/lack of proper reward for the few challanging raids left in the game.

I know. Pre-MotU, you could run ANY EPIC for a fun, doable challenge on your lvl 20 char. Post MoTU, there are some epics you can run on elite and complete with a fresh 20, but most the elite epics will crush you (god help you in a pug group with people wearing leveling stone gear!). So all this new content opens up to your level 20 character who has been waiting - and you end up farming auto-complete hard and normal epics til you are powerful enough to address the new challenges and start having fun again. Zonkers. And then, when you DO get to level 25, and you're ready to take on those epic elite raids (you shouldn't actually have to be level 25 for this, they aren't THAT bad), there's no incentive to run them because
A.) you already got everything you wanted to from them in hard/norm
B.) why would you run it on a challenging difficulty if you can get the same thing on an auto-complete difficulty.

Yeah, I run it for the challenge - AND the reward. And I expect to be rewarded for a challenge!

But these threads are abundant in the forums right now, all without any real dev response. And I doubt we'll see anyone here.

But maybe make a post about the next flavor of wizard spell that's too powerful? That might get their attention.

You missed the memo when they said the Demonweb raid was designed and coded by the same folks that designed and coded the original version of the Abbot :/ (that's my theory anyway)

In DDO set your standards rock bottom and then you will only be disapointed 50% of the time.

    Grats on your second post.

When people spend 50 pots in a single run, to then see it broken to a point where we need to wait on a GM who **might** help us, people start to cry.

If those resources get reimbursed due to turbine's screw ups, then I'd have no problem. Otherwise, I feel robbed, and nobody likes feeling like they got robbed.

You forgot to mention Hotfixes reverting previous bugs.

Epic hirelings no longer have True Rez. Improved Feint is broken again (and was never fixed right to begin with, It went from bluffing everything in a 90 degree arc in font of you to bluffing only the mob you hit, now the bluff never happens once again)

Umm, there was another bug that was fixed in patch one that came back after the most recent hotfix...

I feel a lot of the raid issues have left a bad taste in more then a few people's mouths.

I really enjoy the Xpack content. The quests are the most fun I have had at end game in years. The destinies I enjoy because they have actually given me a reason to keep me at end game to work on new build ideas.

That being said, most of my time these past few years have been working on TR projects with my guild, as that is what we like to do. After capping my two main characters I put them on TR hold while waiting for the raid issues to be addressed, and now that it is up and running, I can't help but feel that the excitement for the raid and the future of the raid has dwindled rapidly.

Another post put it very succinctly: the raid feels less like a raid and more like micro managing bugs. There is no excitement to learn and start adding the raid to the regular raid trains with anybody I talk with. I still enjoy the Xpack general quests, but after 3 runs of the raid, I ended up getting back on my TR schedule.

A few of my guildies quit already due to all the bugs. If everything doesn't get straightened out soon, there will be more, and myself included.

heh best quote ever lol :P i would like to see the raid working. It has a good concept to it. they just need to work on the kinks. I honestly dont think they had enough people testing it. just be happy ana isnt squishy like heyton or coyle.
