Default FIX + improve the spell Hypnotic Pattern please!!

I am one of the few player that play an Illusion-based Arch Mage Wizard. Illusion is one of the small Schools of Magic, with only in total 7 spells over the entire levels. There are only two offensive spells: PK and Hypnotic Pattern. Hypnotic is an area spell, and would have been used a lot more often if it was not for its annoying animation effect. I beg the Dev Team to fix this animation to make it less offensive for eyes so that the use of the spell is more accepted in the parties.

Additionally, the duration of spell can be made longer (e.g. to make it depends on the level) the currently constant 30 seconds, regardless the level.

These are not too big changes, which I am sure can already improve players experience when using of the School.

I like the visual effect on Hypnotic Pattern. Its cool and it fits. I also absolutely HATE the visual effects on it. Especially when it is cast multiple times.

I would like to see it treated like Camouflage: The visual effect is triggered for the first couple seconds of the spell's life, then it fades. In this spell's case it still needs to be visible in order to be able to visually cue us to its expiration, but it could be muted into a dome-shaped transparent fog-like effect. Still some issues there for some video cards, but at least it gets rid of the truly eye-grating portion.
