Post how to post a new thread

ok guys some of u experts probably find this pointless and stupid but when i joined the forums the first time (yestarday lol) this gave me a few problems so im posting this to inform people like my self and maby help some people with the same problem!
ok so in my case i joined the forums because i wanted to post my reincarnate wf sorc charecter sheet to get some feedback and advice but i had NO idea how to post a new thread (i think ddo made this a little hard :S)
    ok so here goes.
the way i do it i dont know if it is the right way but it works for me!

    1. at the top hotbar, the one that says dev tracker, service tracker etc. click on the one that says new posts.
    2. once you are one new post scroll down to about the bottom of the page and click on the little white bar that says forum jump ; search forums.
    3. once you have clicked on that a really long list will pop up scroll down till you see the section on what thread you want to post, in my case i was posting my sorc build so i went down to classes then to spell casters.
    4. then there is some small print on top of the list that says POST NEW THREAD click and you are in buisness!

good luck guys (thankyou to ferd who told me how to do this ^^)
please keep negative remarks to a minimum
    hope i helped

    Alternatively...

    1. Go to the section where your thread belongs.
    2. Click the giant red 'Post New Thread' button in the top left of the screen above where the thread listings start.

Any tips on how to quote a prior post would be awesome too.

I could explain it to you but that may need to be a subject for another thread. :-)
