    Default Twist of Fate

Hey there, I was hoping for people to share the Twists they intent to take for their Rogue and to comment my choices. (I've seen similar threads, but not dedicated to rogues).

    My first thoughts:

Hail of Blows (Grandmaster): +3%double stirke

Piercing Clarity (Grandmaster): Probably 10% fortification bypass + ghosttouch

Critical damage (LDreadnought): +6 damage to crit

UMD boost could be useful, but I'm more inclined to augment offensive capacities. Any fortification reduction, dodge and double strike are what I'm looking for.

    Your 2 cents about this?

If you can afford tier 4 twists, echoes of the shadowdancer from fatesinger is pretty good, +1d6 sneak attack, +2 saving throws vs traps, and lingering shadows (when you're hit, 5% chance to be granted displacement, +4 to hit +2 to damage and 15% attack speed for 4 seconds, is removed if you are hit again). no fort/dodge/ds, but still worth looking at.

Tunnel vision is pretty high dps increase, and tier 1 to boot (you just need the rage spell cast on you, or use pots/primal scream). Sense weakness is another good one from fury of the wild as well.

tunnel works with madstone rage also. oh, and fatesingers stances cant be used at same time as PA or precision.

OP: for dps purposes, sense weakness, tunnel vision and extra action boost are prolly the best bet.

I like Unearthly Reactions 3 from Magister. You get to tumble through mobs even when you're not in shadow form, +6 reflex & +3% dodge.

Perfect balance 3 from GMoF for another +3% dodge.

Ohh, I didnt see that. I usually look up at the ddodestiny.info page, but it seems like its not up to date. I wanted the ability to tumble through mobs, but the only way I thought we could achieve that was to take th grandflower ED...

Guess I'll have to look all the ED's from an updated point of view.

    Any other thoughts on Twists?

Two I'm getting are Unearthly reactions (+6 Reflex, 3% dodge) from magister, and Extra Action Boost (3 extra Action boosts) from Legendary Dreadnaught.

Both are Tier I too, so you only need 3 Twist of Fate points to get them both.

Of course, they are kind of far away from each other on the Epic Destiny wheel. I'll probably grind out access to one, and spend the TP to get access to the other.

Third twist of fate I'm not sure about... be a while before I have enough points to unlock the third one.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

    FooWonk stated that:

I wont comment the fact that he like unearthy, obviously, but was wondering if it really gives the possibility to tumble through mobs. When I look on ddodestiny.info, It reads that you get +3%dodge and +6 Reflexsave.

    Can someone comment on that?

    ---------------------------

I jsut began leveling in FlowerPower ED... It kinda feels to me that it,s a pain to lose all the cool ability you had from previous ED... At least, I can slot in Stealthy 3 as first twist...

Anyone has begun grinding anoter ED?

    ---------------------------

Was thinking that I'd level Flower to get Piercing Clarity TierIV) and Hail of Blows (TIer I), but since the first is a tier 4 ability, I'm not sure anymore, (I'd prefer to grind to tier 3 so as to open another ED).

    ---------------------------

Could Lucidity(Fatesinger - Tier II) be worth it? +6UMD

How about Bracers for Impact (Sentinel Tier I)? +40 fortification en +2 for all saves

Healing Spring looks nice as well, well, if the bonuses from Fey spring and Illusion of well being properties stay active when you twist healing spring.

    Default Twist and shout

Continued looking at the Destinies and wanted a feedback on this idea. I don't play single player, so In think the idea is not too shabby.

What would you think of those twists, apart from the fact that it'll be a pain to grind:

-Healing Spring 3 (Tier1 Shiradi) (if bonuses from Fey Spring and Illusion of well-being follow)

-Nearby allies heal 1d00/30sec for 5 minutes

    -Fast Healing 3 (Tier1 (Fury))

    -you heal 6d20/minute

I'm looking for a thrid healing twist but dont see any... Shout could be neat.

Ddodestiny.info is a work in progress. It doesn't fully document all the destiny abilities.

Even in game tool-tip descriptions are often incomplete or have outdated text from beta 1.

The only sure way to know what destiny abilities do is to try them out in game. My Artificer has Shadowdancer maxed with unearthly 3 & perfect balance 3 twisted.

Unearthly let's you tumble through mobs.

    - Sense weakness: Tier 4 of FotW. Lots of DPS increase, let you kill mobs faster as they go down.
    - Tunnel vision: Tier 1 of FotW, 1d12, more dps.
    - Brace of Impact: Tier 1, US, pretty much mandatory if you run Epic Elite content IMHO.

Tunnel vision is the one that can be changed here. I like Healing Spring and Reign (if it ever gets fixed).
