Default Highlight players on minimap on click.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. We need, in my opinion, a feature where when you click on a name on the party/raid list, I'd like to be able to see where they are on the minimap. This would be great for healers when someone dies and they are not sure where the person died, or someone telling the group that the fire giant/dragon/whatever wilderness objective is at their location.

I just think that it would be really handy to have this feature added so we know exactly where someone is at a click of a mouse, rather than hitting "M" to bring up the entire map and trying to mouse over where this player actually is. In my opinion this feature is long overdue and much needed in most quests. Thanks for your time.

Yesterday I was just thinking about the inexistence of this funcionality, specially when using my cleric and I see someone's red bar shrinking and I'm freaking searching for the player because "its out of reach" or "blocked" when trying to toss a heal...

    /signed again.

This feature is requested often and always signed by many.

It would be nice if this forum had the poll system implemented and we could just keep adding votes to the most popular requests instead of having new threads about them...

It would be AWESOME if we could get a dev response on some of these issues that we keep requesting but they don't get added. If there's a technical reason why they can't do it or whoever keeps mucking about with the UI just doesn't prioritize these things we really want into the list... either way, it would be good to know if we are never going to get the useful enhancements that are requested repeatedly.

Oh yes, this would be lovely. Been requested before, but it's still a good idea.

The only time I don't sign this request is when I don't see it.

This would be so very useful. For extra points, have maps dots light up a different colour when the corresponding player talks. The basic click-to-highlight is more important, though.

i think they need to change the map system all together while implementing this idea, mainly cuz multi level maps are hard to read. in pnp i gave detailed maps of each level a player is on but lets say theres three floors in a map
if you and one other person are on the first floor you show up as a typical blue circle on the map, and you are only able to view the first floor map, if someone is on the second floor above, then they dont show up on the floor your on but instead is shown as an arrow pointing to some obscure direction in the corner of your map, indicating they are not on the same floor as you. I really think they need to totally revamp the map system because even in the medieval times if you were to tell someone to map out this castle it probably wouldnt be on the same map, other Dungeons and Dragons games have done this beautifully to represent different floors, i think its high time Turbine dose so as well. So no more, "what the hell im standing on your dot but your not here"

I could get behind this. If we had kept maps like this while questing in PnP, our DM would have killed us on general principle.

I completely agree with a map system overhaul for sure. I think an easy way to tell if someone is on a different floor would be to show an up arrow instead of a dot for someone who is above you and vice versa. It seems like that and the highlight to click would be pretty easy to program... at least easier than adding a 3d rotating map for sure.
