    Default Change destiny after TRing

Please allow characters to change their Epic Destiny to one that suits their current class when they reach 20th level after TRing.

    Geoff.
I may be wrong about this but I thought you could level all of the Epic Destinies and were only limited to which one you listed as primary for the static benifits and which 3 twists of fate you choose.

I haven't made it there yet, but I assumed this is how it works. If I was wrong, then /signed

The way it works is that the first time you pick a destiny, you get to choose one based on your class breakdown. At least 6 levels of a class unlocks the destinies in that classes relevant sphere. So a 12 monk/8 wizard for example would have access to the martial (GMoF, LD, SD) and arcane (FS, DI, MA) spheres. Once that choice is made however, you have to progress through the different destinies by leveling them up. To unlock another destiny, you have to get your active destiny to level 3 or 4 depending on where the destiny you want to unlock is. If you want to unlock a destiny within the same sphere, it only requires level 3 in your active destiny, but if you want to unlock an adjacent destiny in another sphere, you must level your active destiny to 4. Another example: if you are leveling shiradi champion, and you want to unlock fury of the wild, you only need to reach level 3 in shiradi champion. If you want to unlock legendary dreadnaught though, you need to get to level 4 in shiradi champion since LD is in another sphere. The system is designed so that you can only unlock adjacent destinies in this way, or by using a DDO store item.

With regards to the OP, I think the system works fine as it is, if you TR to a different build type, then you need to plan accordingly. In all honesty, I don't have anything against your suggestion beyond the fact that I think it would make things a bit too easy, but that is just personal opinion. If your change were to be implemented, it would be too easy for people to just pick and choose the few destinies they want things from, which sounds like a great idea from a player perspective, except that once the player has those few things they want, the epic destiny system doesn't have the same draw to it. So from a business standpoint, the system as it is requires more play time to achieve the same results. This means that players will spend longer getting to the point where the epic destiny system is no longer a draw, and gives the dev's more time to come up with more content.

Totally get what you are saying here but if it was only a once per TR option it really wouldnt be 'that' OP. It does work as is though and I personally wouldnt change it. Despite not 'needing' some of the other Epic Destinies ATM, it isnt a bad idea to go ahead and level them all. You never know when your build will change based on game mechanic updates and class balancing. This will provide you with the most options to customize and adapt your character to maximum effectiveness.
