U13 (Web of Chaos) Seal/Shard/Scroll/Token drop locations guide

Seals(and maybe shards) seem to only be dropping on normal in LOD. Group I joined was doing it on hard a bunch, got nothing. Started norm and got a grip of seals, around 10 runs with char swaps.

they drop on hard as well. Just very rare in both. Probably just a lucky streak on norm.

Tamaels chest yea? only one im aware of having them.

PS: Guide updated.. Did a ton of LoD N/H, so that should be fairly accurate. Did 2 more servants/spinner.

Spinner still pretty bugged, no frags on hard/elite.. But some drop on norm.

Havent run these much since the update, finally got the seal I needed. But I do recall: The caster before the first shrine, seems to drop seals (only seen em on normal) but at a much lower rate than the rakshasa chest.

Whereas alternatively I have to yet to see a single seal in over 20 runs of normal LoD since 14.1, including about 14 locked chests in servants (the first chest).

Not one seal. I've seen 2 shards, though. Also weird is that in 20 runs not one scroll... that's roughly 60 kills a run.

They really need to up the drop rates for this chain.

All these runs were on norm? How many ppl in the group?

When you say shards, where? Servants first chest or lod?

@Shade: Pretty sure most came from the altar chest at tahmael. Didn't pay enough attention, but I'll be "not finding" the shard I need tonight and I'll see how it goes.

post 14.1 Ive personally not seen a single seal on EH+, plenty on EN. Seen just about every seal bar the one I acutally want (typical)..

Was wondering if its just pure bad luck..or if the doublecross bow seal never drops in dust..and comes from one of the other 2 (it was bad luck, finally got it in dust..EN of course^^)

edit: found the darkstorm helm seal from fire lord in servants on..yup EN.

I have the same experience. I've ransacked LOD more times than I care to admit with guildies and only ever seen seals drop on EN.

7 more EN LoD runs solo and saw 1 shard, 1 seal, and 1 scroll.

Seems I'll be running this chain for an eternity, since they don't understand how it gets more tougher/longer per difficulty and you are rewarded with infrequent-to-zero drop rates for your troubles.


I have deduced the following from over 40 chests in LoD Normal:

- Marideth/Tahmael's chests both can have seals (Abysmally low % per chest, roughly 5%)
- The 2 optional chests bastion and purified alters do not drop seals at all
- The last chest can have shards (about 10-15% chance)

Servants Normal:

- Drow challenge chest can have shards
- have yet to see the final/flame fang/fire reaver/locked chests drop shards/seals

Spinner:

- Optional chest can have seals
- have yet to see the epic chest drop shards/seals


I will adjust the %'s as I continue to run it. The length of servants/spinners to chests makes them completely not worth the time, which is unfortunate - but it seems the %'s are just as low in them anyway.

Guide updated: Pretty much complete now.

- Filled missing fragments, added averages
- Confirmed EH/EE LoD Tahmael's chest bugged. Dropping named items at high rates like heroic difficulties, but seals only appear on EC/EN.

Yea best loot on casual/norm. Bet several quests are like this due to sloppy loot table bugs.

Ransacked loD normal: Yea tons of seals.. Even seen a bulwark one in the pufiy the altars chest, so ill add taht. Gona assume it has all seals even tho that matches the item.

Tested EC: nada, usually it matches EN but diff rates, seems not this case, as it had named items.

Just pulled a Templar's Justice seal from that optional today on EN.

Pulled a seal yesterday in Tahmaels chest on EN. Guildie and others pulled another 1-2 seals from optional altar chest on EN as well.

One my guildy is trying to get the bow of the silver flame for weeks now...

He is ransaking weeks after weeks the first locked chest in Servants of the Overlord. He tried at epic and heroic. As I can read, epic don't seem to drop this bow, but can someone re-confirm for the heroic difficulty?

Last I heard, the first chest on heroic got swapped with the end chest when they were fiddling with the new difficulty settings so now you'll see Darkstorm Helm and such from the first one and the bow from the end chest. The drow optional was still dropping the bow though.

Yea i updated just two weeks ago, post u15.

Only thing left to confirm is Servants Epic Normal.. Got one report it drops seals. (but not EH/EE)

update:
Ran some Servants on EN - Seals are dropping from flamefangs chest, but not on EH/EE.

Seems to be what happened for both LoD and Servants:
-oldEpic loot tables were copied to EN.
-Heroic C/H/E tables were copied to EC/EH/EE. (Thus base items drop, but not much else)
-Only the epic chests were updated to be mostly correct, not the side chests.

I've run 24 runs of LoD on Epic Normal and haven't seen a single Seal of the Double Cross.

I've done it both in groups and by myself.

Nothing. Everything else but no Double Cross.

I also heard that the 1st chest in Servants has been fixed on Epic Normal and will no longer drop anything?

Double cross seal drops there, and all others.. In fact i've seen two double cross seals in one run, both were from the optional purify the altars chest. Left mine in the chest as no one wanted it.

Weird considering I've run it 24 times on eNormal and not one single seal.

Granted, I did it blocks of 8 and not all at once of course lol
