Exalted Angel 5 Clerics, What is your WIS and SP now?

Hello DDO Brethren and Sistren,


I'm planning my final life for my main (will go 19/1 Cleric/Wiz caster)

My math has my estimated SP at about 2800 at level 25 Exalted Angel 5 with a wisdom of about 50.

Is this correct?


My assumptions:


80 base magical training
1025 19 levels of Cleric
50 1 lvl wiz
660 Wisdom (+20 wisdom modifer at 50 wis)
60 Int (+6 Int modifier at 22 Int)
150 Shroud SP item
200 Archmagi
300 Destiny (50 +50 per level)

*1.1 (Exalted Angel 3rd rank 10% extra mana ability)

=2777.5


Is this about right? I know I could add guild augments, a bit more wis, new Wizardry IX gear or whatever that is, Mental Tough feats, Cleric SP enhancements, and cove trinket. So, I could see that number getting to about 3k (no SP feats thank you)

I read something about destiny levels making you get more SP from items (like having 5 levels fvs or sorc) that true?

Your math looks about right. My guild leader (who is better caster-geared than me but is a pure cleric unlike your build) has just under 2.7k SP at level 25, while my pure cleric is sitting at just under 2.5k at level 24. I have a Wizardry IX item, but i'm missing 8 Wisdom and 100 from Greater Elemental Spell Power (only have War Wizard's Bracers at the moment), so eventually I'll hit over 2.7k.

My personal view is that there isn't much worth taking in EA for a pure casting build, so I took 2 tiers of Endless Faith for 7% more SP total.

That was true in beta; it's definitely not the case on live.

EA is just so lacking as a caster destiny compared to Draconic or even Magister. about 3/4 of the abilities are bugged, meant for melees, or put into the trees for other people to twist. I'd much rather have Draconic, but EA and US (once fixed :eyeroll: ) are the only way to get more divine caster levels. I'll probably twist from Draconic, and try to pick up some of those sweet damaging SLAs.

Well, I can tell you that the energy burst from draconic is indeed sick dmg. I am level 5 draconic on my WF air sorc. I have seen 4.1k+ crits on the burst. I don't even have superior lightning lore atm. Also, that was only using a 90 magnetism item, no eardweller, etc..

But I THINK those numbers are going to be based on caster level. As a divine, you only get the 5 levels of that destiny.. So you will not see the dmg you think prolly. (I THINK this is how it works anyway)

I seem to recall MrCow talking to one of the devs about how it was supposed to be based off character level or cast level, whichever was higher. I could be wrong though. If that's the way it worked, I think Fire would synergize well with the divine spellbook, although if we got the Storm spells we were supposed to, electric would have been epic indeed.

My L25 pure cleric's got 50 wis and over 3,400sp with Exalted Angel 5.

3745 SP or so, 46 wis or so. I'm in sentinel right now so i don't remember the specific stats.
I haven't changed one piece of gear since I was lvl 20.

My cleric is not pure, 18/1/1... I had 2800sp+ prior to the update.
