Wolf Armor

So I see where I can place a collar to add damage and more importantly debuffs to my wolf pet, but unlike on my arti I'm not sure how to equip armor. There is a slot there, but it doesn't accept docents like the arti pet does (which makes sense). So I tried a cloth outfit and no luck. Does any armor type fit in here or is this just a useless slot?

I believe for the wolf it is leather and hide armor.

I have been equipping mine with the same leather or skirmish leather I wear. It shows it with the little exclamation point as not being proficient; however, according to the armor class stats, it does work. Jacks my pets AC by 9 points. Hope this is helpful.

It is. Thank you. I wish it just had a mouse over so it would say what is required there. I tried 4 or so different armor types, but not leather Of course it was the one I didn't try.

Nonproficiency with an armour would give you an attack penalty - and besides guessing from the combat log, there is no way to get the pet's current attack.
