DJ's Adventure with The Green Dragon

Disclaimer: This is for fun. I did not play much pen and paper- maybe 1-2 sessions with my husband and his group years ago. So it may have flaws in lore and all that. I hope you do enjoy the story.

So DeadlyJourny, a Paladin with a crapload of hitpoints, hated by demons and baddies everywhere is walking leisurely through her... I mean the King's Forest. Suddenly she sees a Large green shape ahead, just sitting in the pond. A Green Dragon! She has heard tales of it, but never dreamed she would see it with her own 2 eyes. Brazenly she walks up to it; "Hark Dragon! Why do you sit here and not help our cause in this great war!". After some banter, this Paladin tells the dragon stories of her great kills and conquests- and successfully intimidates the dragon into submission.

But alas, the Paladin could not leave well enough alone- she does tend to be over talkative at times. And continued to poke the dragon, asking it questions. After awhile, tired of her endless chatter- the Dragon snapped and attacked!

Bravely our Heroine fights on, matching the dragon blow for blow! Dodging, slicing the dragon with all her might. She occasionally calls to the Gods and feels them laying their hands on her brow and healing her. She will win this battle!

Feeling the life source draining from his body the Green Dragon takes to the sky! The dragon blasts acid at the adventurer for what seems like forever. Deadly ducks and dodges the attacks, awaiting the Dragons decent. As the Dragon tires, he alights in the swamp- and our Heroine finally slays the beast.




Victory!

(Afterward: Deadly is a tank-style pali with high hate, intim, and hp. Decent DPS but not uber- so it was abit of a longer fight. I had a ton of fun slaying this dragon. Thank you for the adventure Turbine!)
