Spell focused cleric feats question

Hey everyone.
Today I was wandering about swapping a couple feats on my cleric to make him a little more effective with spell DCs.
A couple infos (at least what i can remember, because until sunday night i will not be able to log into game): 34pt build (pl cleric) human cleric with maxed out wisdom and +3 tome eaten, around 500hp and 2050sp.
I'm looking forward to get some advice about which feats should I take..

yeah, sorry about that, couldnt log on forum for a few days.

feats I took:
Toughness, mental toughness, emp heal, maximize, empower, quicken, heighen, extra turning (<--- first one to drop, i know XD )

Yup - Extra turning for spell pen (unless you have a lot of past wiz/FvS lives). I would also lose mental toughness for a focus (necro or evocation, depending upon your style of play).

As I said in the original post, i only have Cleric past life, so Spell pen sounds very good to me
About mental toughness i'm not sure about it, I know it's no big deal, but i would stand below to 2k sp and that might be annoying .. what about swapping empower?

As the game currently stands - I wouldn't do without either my maximise or empower for BB and DP........how it will be in the future is anybodies guess. If you prefer energy drain + destruction/slay/implosion to BB or DP then certainly viable to swap out empower.

Realistically your max SP pool is not very important important.........the number of mana recharge devices is (torc, con-op, bauble, twisted talisman, pots etc). Either way you should find it is relatively easy to get up around the 2K mark with +150 sp from greensteel and +200 from archmagi item.

agree with the extra turning part. if you don't wanna drop mental toughness, then fit a greater spell focus into your gear somehow (like cannith crafting)
