Launcher Errorr prevents changing servers

I have installedm de-installed, and re-installed three times. The game continues to generate a system.objectdisposedexception error after I enter my user name and password to log into the game. The following error is generated once I log in.



This error prevents me from changing game servers. My brother has started playing on a different server and we would like to play together, but this error prevents me from changing game servers. The game runs fine after this error is generated, but only if I stay on the default server (which in my case was "Orien").

Can this error be fixed?

Any help that anyone can provide would be very much appreciated.

Here's a citation from the Turbine Technical Support Knowledge Base that suggests its a .Net Framework issue (sounds like it could well be) and recommends you uninstall and reinstall .Net 1.1 and .Net 1.1 Service Pack 1.
