Cool Disease needs an Icon over our heads

Disease needs an Icon over our heads so we know we have it and so we can drink the pot to cure it.

We need something to show we have this affliction. Right now there is nothing but our buff bar and with so many buffs it would be better to know with an Icon. Poison does, why not Disease?

See Memnir's Post! It is poetic!

I would also like to see something for stat damage or neg levels.

I'd also like to see the poison and curse visual a little smaller. Not much, just a little bit, about 25% reduction in size and I'd be happy.

Isn't there a "weird greeish things" animation that shows in the toon's body?

^This. I remember a thread in the forums about half a year ago asking for this...it got ignored by the devs.
Had a thread a thread about highlighting the selecting party member in the minimap so that finding where the person in need of healing is would be easier, as well as adding a change to the color of palemaster hitpoints when they are in form so that I would know to use harm instead of heal...ignored by the devs.
The devs said themselves that RS Burst would be fixed soon...3 years ago...this question is still being ignored.
    And many more...

And people are wondering why there aren't that many divines available.
    We want more Shavarath quests!

Please fix the Radiant Servant Burst!

Only when first afflicted and when the timer runs out, (in the mean time there is no way for us to tell and with so many buffs, bla bla, bla you get my point), and it lasts for half a second in the affliction moment and when it is too late to do anything.

So We NEED A Thing above our heads that is not too big but shows we are diseased please.

Negative Level idea. Not great - but I took the city regen icon, turned it over, and made it purple. Don't know why - but purple icons are usually bad.

Disease icon. Just took the Cloudkill graphic, and tinkered with it a tad.

Just a couple'a very quick and dirty versions of what I could see working for these icons, if implemented. I picture both icons with a kind of pulsing effect, much like Curse. I think they'd be distinctive from icons we already have over the heads of afflicted characters, and would convey the idea. I'm sure the icon gurus in the art department can come up with something much more glorious.

But, as a sometimes healer-type... I like the idea very much.

The indicator is the flies buzzing around and your character turning green.

I'd also like to see effects on health bar.

    P - Poison
    D - Disease
    C - Curse
    N - Negative levels
A - Ability damage (show only the number of most damaged ability)
For example, if your abilities have this debuff: -2 Str, -6 Cha then show this: 6A

Most of the time you have only one of these, so there is no problem for space.
But even in the worst situation you could still see all of them at once, for example:

I'd much prefer to see icons or letters near the stat bars than displays over the head of characters.

I wish this happened in real life. It would be nice to know that someone had some terrible disease before I had to decide whether to shake their hand or spray them with my +5 greater germ bane bottle of purell.

Would help the players fix their own ills. And would help the divines quickly identify who needed what. If they go with the letters on the HP bar idea, though, the divines would need to be able to see it also.

yeh status effects floating above a characters head... its important feed back for heal bots but personaly id want to switch it off.

My buff bar tells me if i have some thing that needs mending and i cary the pots to mend it, and when im playing my cleric i **** well expect others to cary those pots too - fixing every little booboo is a **** waste of mana.

The poison icon floating above my head.. it seems constant in the new content - and yet it is VERY rare that i take any actual stat damage. Its feed back i ignore because i know i can do so safely. I'd love to turn it off.

So in conclusion: im fine with more status feedback being available but only if there is an option to not display it.

Now show us a picture of both of those, and the posion indication, and the cursed indication all over the head of character at the same time.

I'm guessing it gets pretty ugly.

Buff bar is fine with me..

    My suggestion on this:

Icon over the head yes, but only if you actaully fail the save vs the poison or disease. Otherwise it only shows in your debuff bar (which btw is now on a seperate line vs the buffbar, so it is easier to tell).

REMOVE: Poison icon for "posion weakness". If just wastes peoples pots/wands etc.. The correcnt patern should be: See the icon - neutralize the poison. Currently you can try to do that a dozen times in a row, but you cant neutralize the weakness, thus it should not show.

And neutralizing a posion where you never failed a save anyways is also wasteful.

imo neutralize posion should also function as a 30 point posion resist buff too, like resists, but with that much lesser duration.

There's a buff bar, and a debuff bar. The poison / disease icon goes there, and is not hidden at all by the buff bar.

However, i'd love to see easier to spot visual effects over the toon's head. I rarely glance at my own debuff bar when I hear someone proccing a disease effect, and thus it might get to tick 4 or 5 times before I realize that *I* am the one affected
