Default Baiting bite "fix" in patch 2.

    So from the patch notes:

"Fixed a bug where the Druid spell Baiting Bite and the feat Improved Feint would only trigger their bluff checks the first time you used them after logging in. They should now properly activate every time they are used."

I have got to ask do the programers even actually do even the quickest test of these things before you claim to have fixed them?

Baiting bite still is NOT triggering bluff tests.

Took a druid into searing heights and tested it on a stack of mobs. It doesn't go off. Yet every time i pressed the bluff button, the bluff skill worked just fine on its own. Exactly the same as before the claimed fix.

It may be that this fix didn't make it into the current build on Lamannia. I'll look into it further when time permits.

As its still showing in the release notes and now has a big red *new* in front of it *NEW: The druid spell Baiting Bite and the feat Improved Feint now trigger their bluff checks properly.*

I tested this again just now.

Its still not working. Seriously its really not that hard to test something so simple. Or that hard to remove it from patch notes and stop adding new patch notes about it. (and i bet the live patch notes when they arrive claim that its been fixed too)

Looks like the second patch going live without any druid fixes.

So am I thinking that there is:
    (1) Live version
    (2) Lammania version for player base to assist with testing
    (3) Some internal "next live" version
    (4) Individual developers will each have a local version to test their own individual development items

So developers book elements to their local version from the "next live" which will prevent any other developers changing those element to avoid developers overwriting each other's code.

When their changes are accepted they're returned to the "next live" version.

Periodically the "next live" version is flushed to the Lammania version for us to play around with?

And what goes live at patch time is the "next live" version and not the Lammania version. So what we're actually testing isn't what's actually going live?

None of this is commercially sensitive, but myself and a lot of others I'm sure are curious to understand the version control you use and how it works. We're not trying to tell you how to do your jobs, but some of us have 20 plus years real-life experience in process improvement and have a genuine interest in this area.

Well its gone live and it sort of works, so teh live version must be different than the last lamania version i tested

Testing in the vale. I have a bluff of around 35 with items and so on. Its pretty much no fail when i click the actual bluff skill icon. Using baiting bite seems to trigger the bluff check perhaps one in every 3 times maybe? ( i actually think it might be related to where you are in you attack chain when you use the skill) Which is an improvement on it never going off, but still not working correctly.

    Unhappy

It would be nice if this ability worked, even nicer if bluff were a class skill instead of diplomacy. Druids could use a little endgame love.

if it is working the same as Improved Feint, then it seems that you need to wait about 1 second without attacking after triggering the ability. If you wait the 1 second, you will see the bluff roll and the icon over the mobs heads.

Confirmed if you wait the 1 second the bluff ability activates, the bear form intimidate attack (Maul) also works the same way. Any attacks or it seems sometimes even movement cancels the bluff.

    Still not working properly.

Could this get added to the known issues? Or is it fixed? Been waiting for druids for years and now they're on the back burner until their abilities work.
