How many FRDS are these worth?

And does anyone want to trade me one?

With reds being worth about half of what they were, if not less ( I saw one on AH for only 700kpp buyout) prior to the xpac. I'd say 6-7 reds.

Seriously? There was a Holy Symbol of Lolth on the AH 3 days ago with a 2,000k PP buyout that no-one went for, the bid price was 1,000k PP with an hour to go but I missed the auction close.

The release notes for the next update seem to indicate the scales will no longer be dropiing in challenges so the price may go back up.

I had 3, so I decided to put one on AH for 2 million buyout. While it did not sell for that amount it did go for nearly 1.2 million. So I would have to say 700k-1.2 million platinum....Whatever that will get you in scales.

Ring of Fire in the expansion has a chance of dropping a scale if you run lvl 24 or higher and kill the dragon which appears at 5 stars and I think the mimics. I usually get a scale about every 4-5 runs, but I've seen people pull 3-4 a day easy. Thats why you'll see Reds on th3e AH for 700kpp buyout when they were twice that prior.

I got one in a level 22 and never killed the dragon, just got it out of the mimic chest.

    This.

And by the way, if any devs are reading this, please don't change reds dropping in challenges, but if you MUST (I can see a reason to) then make it so they only drop in Level 25 and above, and make it only drop in the red dragons chest. Getting them from a mimick is kinda easy sauce... but please let them drop somewhere other than VoN, an every 3 day raid.

No way to realistically get 20 in less than a year unless you spend all your plat on them all the time.

Feel like a jerk. Didn't even answer the OPs question, total derail

To answer: On Thelanis, 2 with a 1.2 million buyout, one starting bid at 1 million, the other at half a million. I bid on the half a million and will "maybe" increase it to 750k...

I'd say, in a trade channel buyout, 3 or 4 larges, 500k, or 1 FRDS. But then again, we really don't know the drop rate yet of the Holy Symbol. I've heard some people saying they already have 3, others saying they've gotten ransack on the chest with three toons in 6 man runs and never seen it drop. I suspect both are exagerations and statistical anomalies (spelling?).

Anyway, just my opinion with the limited info we now have.
