Ah, but the movies proved they could not sustain the stare for long and they'd be out of juice.

But I did often wonder why they didn't just nuke from "cloud" orbit.

Its been a long time but I seem to recall an episode where I think it was secret bear showed a sustained blast when his best bud and my personal favorite friendship bear was cornered by something. We all knew the zsword was going to be a joke. No for me it was back when Goku was on the ship approaching namek, what was that 10 episodes to cover the last five minutes of his approach while gohan and krillon got the stuff pounded out of them. Then the last episode before he lands bam 6 month break on cartoon network before it comes back on and we get to see what goku can do, oh sure it was glorious, right up tunil he got his body stolen. NOW THAT WAS FRELLED!

Best ep had to have been Goku and Picolo getting their drivers licenses.

I agree, and the justifications are great artwork, great story writing, good characters etc.... I had this debate with someone, they linked me a video on youtube. Something like "why MLP is great and why I recommend it" or similar.

It was 45 mins long..... :/ I watch 11 mins, they started singing, I decided this was actually a cartoon designed for small children, mostly girls, and logged off.

Its just not for grown men, no justification will make that.

However if they enjoy watching girls cartoons then thats their bag....... If a grown man wanted to wander round in a frilly dress with his hair in bunches, thats would be their choice. No harm no foul I guess but they shouldn't try to paint it as something it isn't
