Thumbs down Monk levels lowers Druid feral DPS ?

Is it true that Monk levels reduced the 1d12 bear and 1d10 wolf attacks to only 1d6?

I thought it was because power attack was broken that the dps dropped off when I took my Monk levels. Others have said it is the change to Monk that lowers the base attack damage 1d6.

might be related to handwraps (i mean, really... handwraps are borked in so many ways, it wouldn't surprise me). maybe try it out with a pair of kamas equipped or something instead?

It's a bug with how the new unarmed damage progression interacts with the wildshape forms damage.

It doesn't matter what you have equipped. Kama's, hand wraps or no weapon at all. Taking one level of monk reduces your base damage to 1d6 from 1d10/1d12 (WW/DB)

Tried it all out. To rub salt in the wound, you can't even LR the monk levels out to Druid levels at this time. (due to LR not working with changing to druid levels)

Think Diyon has it correct. It seems that monk fists overwrite the wildshape for some reason.
