its a pen and paper term, might that be why?

I do think it would be a good idea too, meele druids need a bit more teeth so to speak.

    I think of it as:
Full BaB - +1 BaB every Level
    3/4 BaB - +3 BaB every 4 Levels
    1/2 BaB - +1 BaB every 2 Levels.

Correct. Or at least some form of low maintenance ability. I have 2 belts with 5 clicks of divine power on my (current) druid and it makes a huge difference on the attack speed. But, it’s an impractical solution for tanking something like Lord of Blades.

Something else that I though of last night: Rend should give a full on Improved Sunder effect. Since it puts sunder feats on timer a player shouldn’t have to choose between the trauma effect of the feat or the +W effect of the spell. I think this would also be balanced by the fact that druid is a feat starved class and it’s limited to bear forms.

Also, I think the Bluff/Intim spells should give a meaningful Bluff/Intim score. Perhaps Caster Level +3 +gear and CHA skill modifiers or adds +3 to a “real” skill check. It still allows building in actual skill ranks for splash builds and half-elves.

I’m assuming the developers are thinking that a druid tank will gain aggro from persistent AoEs and Creeping Cold. The main issue I see with this is that nearly all their persistent AoEs are on the sorc/wizard spell list and can easily be overwritten by them. Having to compete with an arcane isn't fun for the druid and having to hold back isn't fun for the arcane caster.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

Well said. You're also 'form locked' -- taking natural fighting compromises your melee effectiveness in elemental/human form while taking THF/TWF does the same for wolf/bear form.

Yeah. I’m at the point of suggesting that the devs drop those feats and roll them into Nature’s Warrior instead. If we had the option to go TWF/THF/PA -> Great Cleave paths and keep the doublestrike bonuses the animal forms would be a lot better.

Also, on a different tangent - What would everyone think about making party members into members of a druid’s “pack”. I mean, it works for hirelings, why not fellow players? It would definitely bring them more into artificer/bard territory at least.

It would certainly give a reason to want druids in raid groups as opposed to them being a waste of a party slot. However, it would also even more form lock them because some of those pack buffs require you to be in wolf form.

Generally agree, druids are a feat starved class.

also, search should be a class skill....it is a class skill for rangers, no reason for
druids to have spot as a class skill but not search. they go hand in hand.
