That's what ye get for Min MAxing.....

Flip them horizontal then back vertical and save UI works in the meantime.... If you dont save setting they go all out @#$%^ again...

It blows but prevented me from going postal..... For now....

I found what caused the issue, at least in my case, was when i had vertical bars on the very edge of the screen then Alt-Tabbing. To prevent this I just moved the bars a few pixels away from the edge of the screen and the problem hasn't repeated.

Though it appears that your hotbars aren't on the edge of the screen, unless you just moved them to take a nice screenshot, in any case I hope this helps.

Mine have a quarter-inch reveal between the edge of the window and the bar.

1600x900 Windows Resolution and the game runs at the same resolution but in Windowed Mode. Screen shots are saved at 1592x836 however. Additionally, I refuse to reset my hotbars on basic principle. Here's an update on what the hotbars look like today:

that's pretty funny. i had a similar idea to just leave it until they fix it... but i couldnae stand the tininess anymore.

replacing the hotbar back on the stack and then putting it back up again fixes the squeezed frame, too.

Some times it takes new developers being told about a years old problem to get it fixed even though the actual bug has been reported and was utterly combat breaking for frigg'n YEARS.

SOOOO looking forward to having an attack only button. Speaking of I need to log onto Lama tonight to test that.

This generally happens if I start the game in window mode then later move it to full screen.

A quick & easy (though temporary) fix when it does happen:

Set the bars the way you like them.
Save you UI.
When they start to get all smooched, just load your saved UI, they pop back to the right shape.
