    Sorry, I'm actually going to disagree with not being useful from Levels past 10.

    Here is why...

    One Example:

    Since the Spell pass that removed the HD limit on Sleep and Deep Slumber I have found that this spell works on Vermin better than mass holds. Example is "Let Sleeping Dust Lie". In this quest the goal is to kill all of the Ogres without killing any spiders. This can prove to be difficult since spiders like to jump and Holding them makes them more Damage prone from melee glancing blows. The Ogres have a higher Save vs this spell so being able to cast in on the entire group puts the spiders to sleep and maybe 1 or 2 ogres allowing them to come to you putting spiders out of harms way.

    Another example

    Quests where spending time killing stuff is actually wasting XP/per minute. While Mass, Hold can disable groups, if the group is thick enough it may be difficult to skirt by. Using Deep Slumber actually puts them on the ground making it easier to pass by. Also this spell works when dealing with mobs that commonly have Freedom of Movement.

    This spells best use is not against creatures your going to kill, but against creatures you want to avoid killing.

    The primary CC Wizard is a valid build, but you will need to understand your limitations and realize how your going to fit in to each group. Groups that want to pummel everything will enjoy your style. Tactical groups will enjoy your contribution. Zerging Groups may not notice as most of them ignore the chaff in quests anyway.

    I do recommend have a few "other" tricks up your sleeve; such as a few DPS DoTs both single and AoE and also some burst damage for when no CC is required and there is only this one BIG BAD standing between you and sweet loot.

    1. Thanks for catching that. I totally missed that increase.
    2. I can't keep Concentration, Disable Device, and Search all maxed, let alone the rest I want. How should I balance my skill points?
    3. I'll try to take some points from Haggle and Jump. I didn't invest in Repair, and I don't think I'll get a tome.
    4. Which spell should I swap out for Otto's Irresistible Dance?
    5. I'm working on enhancements now. I have a pretty good idea what I'm going to do, but I'm not sure how important the element manipulation/crit lines are.

    On my palemaster I took the full crit lines for cold but I didn't have a secondary element. Some others do 2 elements. I think generally people like to do 7/1/1 (meaning only one AP in the crit lines) but it's really up to you.

    Greater shout can be decent CC but deals abysmal damage. The issue is that it's directional and doesn't have a great range. So all said it's pretty marginal (bards don't get many options which is why they like it so much).

    in terms of skills I think priority should go like this

    1st concentration
    2nd search
    3rd disable
    4th spot
    5th move silently
    5th UMD
    6th balance

    If you play mostly in groups then spot is slightly less useful as there will likely be a party member who can show you where the traps are. On my pally rogue with a 14 starting INT I lowered disable to 18 at the end, to make up for this I had a +15 disable item that I swapped in when trapping. End game disable was over 50 but I hear the epic elite difficulty in the new content has a higher disable requirement so it's up to you.

    Regarding enhancements, I seem to use such a variety of damage types that no line stands out as being the right one for me. Should I just take a few in Fire and Cold, since I seem to use them a little more than others?

    Fire is ok early on but after a point you should just stick with one element. Since the focus of your build is CC and damage is secondary it isn't imperative that you cover all the bases in damage.

    The reason why cold is suggested is because there are many fire immune foes end game. Also cold spells have the advantage over acid and electric spells because they have so many options. AoE spells like cone of cold, or the freezing sphere. Single target spells like polar ray (one of the best single target damage spells in the game) and frost lance. In addition niac's biting cold is one of the two best dps spells against bosses (eldar's electric surge being the other). Make sure you take both of those spells when you level up because the scrolls aren't sold by vendors so those scrolls will be far more expensive than other scrolls. You can only get them on the AH.

    Here's what I've come up with, this time with enhancements included in the stats. Does this build look okay? Also, one of my concerns is because of the way the Spell Mastery and SLA enhancements interact, I need to reset my enhancements at level 14 to make them work. Is this a concern?
