    Default Critical bug not fixed! Assassinate not fixed with this patch!

    At the moment, if a mob isn't aggroed, you can't assassinate them because your dmg applies before the Assassinate attempt, aggroing the mob thus not letting you kill it. If you want to solo something, you just can't use it.

    The main feature of the assassins isn't working properly at the moment. Pretty a huge bug I'd say.

    Fix this ASAP.

    Re-think about this patch, delay it, do something but please fix another 5-10 things (specially Epic destinies bugs) before putting this to live. I've never been so unhappy with a Patch, really but this is outrageous (is this the right term? Pardon my english ).




    I can't check in game at the moment but I guess if it's not in the notes, it's not fixed.

    You can use bluff to "prep" a mob for an assassination.

    But that's just a little work around. I agree, it's very annoying. And god help you if you need to assassinate an archer mob with the aforementioned method.

    Rogues got a lot of hits from these bugs, what with broken sneak attack dice.

    No worries, you can still use executioners strike for instakilling, you know! No wait, actually thats broken as well... Then you can use consume! oh wait... meh :/

    This is the absolute worst time to be rolling a new Rogue... Oh well, it's not like anyone plays Rogues... oh wait...

    Well, you wont need Assassinate to work until you hit level 12, so you have a while, if you roll now.

    Im planning Rogue next life. TRing in about a month, and figure a couple of weeks to get to 12. If they dont have it fixed within 6 weeks then they really should pack it in and give up.

    Indeed. I've pointed this in a couple of threads already, asking to delay this patch to fix these bugs (at the moment I believe rogs are the most broken class, their main feature and their main destiny have several bugs) but no answer so far. I really hope it's because it's weekend.

    Already rolled, and crafted some stuff. Still got to get most of my +5 skill items done, striding, and I think +2 CON crafted, but I'd have to find my prep sheet. Trying to find room for all of the BTA **** I've accumulated. I'm thinking it's time to vendor alot of it, and cut down to 1 mule.

    At least I'll likely be leveling slow, since I'll be waiting on a guildy or two on 3rd lifers.

    There were some hints that we might get dex to damage and maybe other changes with the enhancements overhaul, so currently there is no way to tell what a rogue might look like half a year down the road. Personally I've put my rogue on hold for now, gathering gear on the pretense that it might or might not be completely useless in the end is not exactly motivating.

    I know you are aware Cordovan.

    Thou, it's the main feature of the Rogue assassins so I really hope this gets looked into with a certain kind of priority (togheter with WF heal amp bug) and makes it into the U14p2.

    Hey Cordovan, for what it's worth, Improved Feint is broken too. My inclination is to believe the two are related, so if it helps the Dev looking into the bug, I'd go after shared code between them... i.e. in the recent Floating Text bug fix, make sure an i++ wasn't changed to an i-- thus reversing the stack of attacks, or something...
