veteran status - bugged?

did a search, didn't find a thread that applied to this situation.

i purchased veteran status through the ddo store earlier today. i created a character; got on the airship, decided i didn't like the character, deleted it at level 2.

created another character, got on the airship, got it to lvl 4, got off in stormreach, did part of a mission, decided i didn't like it.

deleted a character from the same server (so i'd have a free slot), created a character - level one on the start island.

few more creates/deletes later and i'm looking at only two characters on this server. when i create a third - it's always level 1, no airship, always on the starter island chillin' with jeets.

Are your recent characters Druids, by any chance? Druids are being specifically barred from using veteran status over the course of this update, in order to encourage players to play them all the way through their levels, rather than skipping any (They do this with all the new classes).

If you're not making a druid then... well... you broke DDO. I hope you're happy D:
