Login Server Error

I started my DDO and it updated. It then went to the screen to put in my screen name and password. I did that then hit log in. It makes two attempts then gives me Login Server Error. "The Following web error occured while trying to access "https://gls-auth.ddo.com/gls.authserver/service.asmx"

Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: stream

Disregaurd. Seems the servers are down. Im new to this fourm and still not sure where to look to find out if they are down or not. Read in someone elses post that they were down.

A hotfix is going on, hence the servers are down for maintenance.

From 12:30 Pm to 3:30 pm EST.

There's even a message about the hotfix on the launcher. Theres no way you can miss it.

Dunno, but i think the game has enough bugs, errors etc.., that I cant imagine which of those millions they will fix..

I want to play. And i want to play now. And why was this 350 files update what broke the hole sh...?

EDIT: Sorry, my fault ... was thinking the hotfix is tomorrow, didnt realized the date..pff

There's typically error messages until they are done with all of the updating.

I wouldn't panic yet until one of the Dev's or Turbine folk come on to the forums and post that the worlds are back up.

Server status says up. And the devs said they are up. But I am getting this error as well.

The servers are back up yet I am still getting this error so maybe just maybe you can stop being a ****** bag and look at the problem instead of leaving comments on a tech assist thread that have no intention of helping solve the issue.
