    Default Mouse Sensitivity Issue

This issue has been bugging me for a couple weeks now. I reinstalled windows, reinstalled DirectX, tried another mouse, played with the configurations in game and on windows, and even another computer. In another computer it goes normal but on mine...

The issue is that sometimes, for no reason, my mouse will jump up in sensitivity for a few seconds. This causes me to spin a wierd circle, run into walls, and just plain not be able to aim at something in-game. It's as if the sensitivity becomes about quadruple what you have it set at, but only for about a second or two and then returns to normal. This happens on low or high sensitivity settings. This problem makes playing the game almost impossible (and totally impossible as an arcane) as you are unable to control your aiming or even the direction you are trying to face.

The issue is similar to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK9Ct...eature=related only worse.

    Please help!

You did not say what type of mouse you are using. If you are using a standard? 3 button mouse both the OS/Video can start checking settings as you play the game, causing many issues. Get yourself a logitech-naga-who knows mouse tha comes with ots own drivers that will allow you to set the DPS its set for not just the "SPEED" of the mouse.

As others have stated, more infor is required. However, I have had similar issues in the past due to specialized third party software. If your mouse has software installed with it, try uninstalling it to see if that helps.

I messed around with the Engine Speed setting to just High in the Troubleshoot options page and got a nice improvement, but still have the issue occasionally. I'm using a standard cheap mouse ;P

go spend a few bucks and buy a new mouse. Even a 3 buck one (to test) if u can. It sounds like this is either a laser eye problem(where its dying, will 'surge' now and then which results in hyper accelerated movement for a split second, will also, during normal viewing, hop around the screen randomly while using it) or a tracking issue(similar to the above but its instead the receiving part which is skipping out)

Either way, get a new mouse(if u go cheap it'll be the same as u got anyways, if u spend 20+ your gonna get one GENERATIONS better than what you got)
