I'd recommend putting in a tech support request if you haven't already, they can get much more in-depth into an error like that.

NOTE: The Customer Support forums are best for Player-to-Player help, for more direct and official support, please submit a ticket to the appropriate team via the form here.

After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.

I whacked the whole error straight into google and found out that it was something to do with steam emulator still in the memory and a simple restart of the computer fixed it. For future reference.

    Default Another option

If the game wont install and you have tried everything, there is a 99.9% probability the problem is with your computer. Best thing to do is backup your computer, format your hard drive, reinstall windows and load all the newest drivers. Then load DDO before anything else. I will bet you 1 million dollars this will fix the problem if your using windows XP or newer.
