Energy Sheath

I was wondering, is energy sheath working properly? The description reads that it absorbs 50% of the same element that it is, but it also has a fire shield type description.

Isn't it supposed to absorb 50% of the opposite element? If this isn't right then shouldn't you take the opposite element of your specialty?

Electric sheath absorb 50% elec damage and so on.

It absorbs element you choose and deals same element damage to those that attack you

fire shield is just a wizard spell. it is not dragon-themed at all, therefore does not function like a dragon (dealing damage of a certain type and being immune/resistant to that same type).

energy sheath is an epic draconic incarnation special ability which functions like a spell. it is dragon-themed, and therefore functions much more like a dragon's innate abilities of breathing a certain type of damaging breath weapon, and being resistant or immune to the same kind of breath weapon.

energy sheath is not an improved version of fire shield. it is an ability to make you more like a dragon. that is the difference.

I think the part about fire shield in the initial post is triggered by the fact that the ability description mention that this ability will cancel/overwrite an existing fire shiled spell, thus suggestion that the ability itself is flagged the same ability code wise, making it understandable to assume it works the same way, only with a different element and possibly different numbers.
