Default Why are liches immune to sumbeam?

    Level 7 druid spell.
Deals 1d3 + 3 light damage per caster level.
    Double damage against undead.

Works great against mummies, zombies, wights, etc. However, liches are completely immune. Made Wizard King a bit annoying until I realized Wall of Fire was a level 5 spell for druids.

Is there some reason that I'm missing as to why a Lich would be immune to this perfect undead killing spell?

    Because they're horrible at math?

    (sorry)

Always thought that immunity was strange.

I would hope that is a bug. If I ran across this, I would most definately report it as such.

Well, there is this from the wiki on Mantel of Invulnerability, which all liches have:

    Description:
While this effect is active, all spells that are spell level four and below are negated.
Note: Due to how it is coded sometimes negates other higher level spells (such as Sunburst, as the blindness component is tagged as a 2nd level spell source, and Greater Shout.)
I dont know if its still true.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Thanks for the info, that is likely the cause.
