LR: Pale Master or Archmage

I currently have a PM that I plan to LR. No, I'm not whining about the nerf to Wail. I had planned to LR when I got to 20 to get rid of my pets anyway. But with all the changes I'm trying to decide if I should stick with PM (have the Mabar docent) or if I should change to Archmage. Thinking of getting the Eveningstar set which will replace my docent. Which takes away all my Necro stuff...

Comments or suggestions?

But more seriously, until palemaster forms are broken, its safer to be AM, I think.

For a warforged who can heal himself anyway, the question is a valid one. For fleshies, I would say that if you enjoyed PM before, you can still enjoy PM now. Yes, wail is less powerful. However, and ymmv, my death aura ticks doubled after the update. So even though the mass killings via wail are over, my durability is up and increased DCs via magister mean that my FoD is even more reliable than it was before. All in all, I am pleased with the way my PM survived the update, despite all the doom on the forums.

Forgot to mention that he IS a Warforged, so are you saying that it might be better to go AM? Also he has 2 levels of Rogue so won't be getting the capstone.

Also, if I do stay PM is it worth taking the Eveningstar set and finding other replacements for the Necro on the docent?
